Yushien Garden

#SeasonalPlacesInJapan Yushien Garden is an authentic Japanese garden located on Daikon Island in Lake Nakaumi, Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture. Daiko Island, where Yuushien Garden is located, is the number one producer of peony seedlings in Japan and one of only three places in Japan where Korean ginseng (Unshu ginseng) is cultivated. The first phase of construction of the garden began in 1970. After that, it was developed and is now a Japanese garden with a pond and pond stroll of about 12,000 (40,000 square meters).
