A Historical Journey to Matsue Castle

Standing on the castle tower, overlooking the scenery of Matsue, I felt a surge of gratitude. This land has witnessed numerous events, whether it was the prosperity of peace or the pain of war, all of which are important parts of human history. I am grateful to those who fought to protect this land, for it is their efforts that allow us to enjoy this cultural heritage today. In the castle's exhibition hall, I saw many precious artifacts and historical materials, which served as windows into the life of that era.
