1. Address - Piscina das Marés Highlights - This ocean pool was rated as the world's best by Lonely Planet and is located within the Praia de Leça da Palmeira. The pool is only open during summer and it can queue up at the ticket booth. Rating - 5/5 2. Address - Castelo do Queijo Highlights - This is a fortress castle at the Praia de Matosinhos. It's a small fortress with a cafe inside, and covers the history of Portugal and it's military over the ages. Entry is only €0.50 per person. Rating - 4/5 3. Address - Mercado Municipal de Matosinhos Highlights - if you want to get fresh fruit or seafood from the markets, this is the place to be.
