Buntod: A Refreshing Get Away

#wecreate How I wish I had a drone to take a photo of this beautiful sandbar in Masbate. This is the Buntod Reef Marine Sanctuary, an islet and mangrove area off the coast of Masbate City. I was astonished to experience a refreshing getaway by boat from the mainland of Masbate with coral reefs, mangroves area and rich marine life. With a minimum fee, 500 php boat ride for 4 persons, I enjoyed swimming, boating, snorkeling and trekking into mangrove forest. For travel tips, 1. the best time to go there is low tide for the sand bar, 2. around sunset, and 3. bring enough food and water; 4. There is no shower and 5. Dispose your garbage properly.
