La Trattoria Marrakech: A Must-Visit Italian Restaurant in Morocco

Among the Spanish, French, and Italian restaurants I tried during my trip, La Trattoria Marrakech stands out as my top recommendation. My sister, who traveled to Marrakech with our mother last year, was so impressed by this restaurant that she brought me along this time. Due to its popularity, we made a reservation in advance and went for lunch. The ambiance was fantastic, with a swimming pool right in the middle of the dining area. We ordered three dishes, two mocktails, sparkling water, and one dessert, totaling 1,020 dirhams (approximately 160,000 KRW). While it is quite pricey compared to the general cost of living in Morocco, the experience was so satisfying that I would love to visit again. Even the bread served before the meal was incredibly crispy, and the butter paired perfectly with it. The dishes were outstanding: sweet melon and savory prosciutto created a heavenly combination, the pasta with a delightful truffle aroma, and the creamy pasta topped with plump shrimp were all exceptional. The mocktails were refreshingly tangy and enjoyable. Additionally, since my birthday was just two weeks away, my sister had arranged for the restaurant to prepare a dessert with a personalized birthday message. They even included my name and sang a birthday song for me, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The strawberry tiramisu was refreshingly delicious.
