#Overseas Travel In the center of Mantova is the Mantua Cathedral (Duomo - Cattedrale di San Pietro), also known as Cattedrale di San Pietro Apostolo. The cathedral is located on the north side of the central square, very close to the Ducal Palace. It was first built in the 14th century and was redesigned based on the original Romanesque church, retaining the bell tower of that time. After many renovations, it now presents three architectural styles, including Baroque, Gothic and Romanesque. The interior is in the shape of a cross, and the hall is divided into five naves by a colonnade composed of four rows of Corinthian columns.
