Castlefield Viaduct: the newest national trust property

One of the most impressive urban redevelopment projects in the UK can be found on an old train line to the south of Manchester City centre. Castle Viaduct has been transformed from a derelict relic of the cities industrial past to a tourist attraction creating a rare green space within the city by the national trust.
