Quality seafood, honest price in the old town of Malaga

#celebrateit Honestly speaking, Spanish cities tend to get very touristy, which means crowded+inflated price (though still lower than many Western European cities) even if the standard is subpar. But this place was rather honest with their pricing. Originally I wanted to do their grilled octopus with purple potato puree, but the manager seeing I was coming in single pax, kindly told me they currently had only large one, which would cost double or triple than what the menu showed (10.5€ per 100gram). Which was lovely. I ended up ordering a local fish, garlic prawn and sangria. Olive was given free, which reminded me of Italy. It’s simple, but packed with so much umami, and you just can’t get this kinda quality in most places in Europe. All seafood was fresh, and the type of fish i ordered turned out to be the chewy kind (with a lot of collagen) like patin fish that I used to eat back home. The fried sweet potato slices are quite creative variant for potato fries, I appreciated it. Garlic flavor wasn’t too strong for prawn though. Comparte 📍Address: C.
