[Benten Shrine/Gunma Prefecture] A shrine on the banks of Lake Onuma in Akagi

Benten Shrine in Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃 A shrine located on the banks of Lake Onuma in Akagi. It is enshrined as a sub-shrine of Akagi Shrine. Right next to it is the site of the old Akagi Shrine, and you can see the stone monument and the site indicating it, as well as the sacred sake that was offered there. At Benten Shrine, there is a stone torii gate, a stone slab monument explaining the shrine's history, and a small shrine. Beyond that is the beautiful and expansive Lake Onuma.
