Wat Luang Khun Win

Arriving at Wat Luang Khun Win, we were excited by the two white stucco nagas on the temple stairs, raising their heads and showing off their majestic bodies, so much so that we couldn’t help but take a photo. After taking the photos, we walked along the stairs that looked like layered snake scales, making it look different from other places. When we reached the tail of the big naga, we reached an open ramp before going up to the chapel of Wat Luang Khun Win. We passed a staircase with white stucco scrollwork to go to the floor where the chapel is located. The first image we saw of the chapel of Wat Luang Khun Win amazed us. What kind of angel dared to create such a beautiful mansion in the middle of a shady mountain? The highlight of the chapel of Wat Luang Khun Win in our first impression was the contrast of three colors: 1. The white color of the four stucco nagas that form the base surrounding the chapel. The curved movement of the nagas made it look like they were alive when we first saw them. 2. The reddish-brown color of the chapel, which contrasts strikingly with the white color of the naga base. And exquisite with wood carvings of giants, angels and the Four Guardians. The closer I looked, the more I was amazed when I found that the church was made entirely from red wood. The three golden colors of the carvings on the wood, gable and pediment create a sacredness for the church. When contrasted with the green backdrop of tall trees, the composition blends everything. The church is designed with recessed angles and a four-tiered roof, giving the church dimension. Each floor has details for taking beautiful photos. The outside also has a stucco arch containing the boundary markers of the temple's boundary markers. #Chiang Mai #Beautiful temples in Chiang Mai #Wat Luang Khun Win How to get there - Drive Tourist attractions - Wat Luang Khun Win Hotels - Mae Ping Hotel Chiang Mai Restaurant and food - Khao Soi Fa Ham, Kua Kai Nimman Shopping - Night Bazaar
