Pha Hop, truly breathtaking as its name suggests

Pha Hop or Doi Pha Hop is located at Ban Mae Kiang, Tambon Sop Pad, Amphoe Mae Mo, Lampang Province. It is a community forest area and a natural tourist attraction of Mae Mo District. It is a large bend in the river with cliffs on both sides. The water is clear but quite deep. There are caves full of stalactites and stalagmites. As for the activity that most tourists come to do, besides playing in the water to cool off, is rafting to visit Tham Pha Hop, which is one of the most beautiful caves in Tambon Sop Pad. Inside the cave, there are stalactites and stalagmites. The entrance to the cave looks like a heart. If you look from outside the cave, you will see 2 hearts stacked on top of each other. But if you look from inside the cave, you will see a large heart and a crescent moon, depending on where you look. You can also walk to see the cliff. Including renting a kayak to enjoy the natural scenery in this Pha Hop area. Importantly, rafting at Pha Hop is done by pulling ropes without any engines to preserve the nature for a long time. The rafting fee is only 50 baht per person. You can enjoy the natural scenery at a low price. For other activities, you can ask the caretaker for the price. Getting here is not difficult at all. From Mueang Lampang District, turn right at Mae Mo Post Office. Then drive straight. When you cross the railway, turn left and drive straight. You will see Wat Ban Mae Kiang. Continue straight until you reach a gravel road. Drive to the end of the road, about 7 kilometers, and you will reach the parking lot. Then walk along the mountain ridge for about 300 meters. You will find Lam Nam Chang. You haven't reached it yet. Keep walking a little bit more until you reach Pha Hop.
