Mornings in Madrid are perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee with a small pastry, and this chain café is always bustling with business. It can be hard to find a seat. The counter is filled with a tempting variety of pastries and small cakes, all in modest portions so they’re not too filling. I ordered a coffee with an apple pie, which had a lovely flavor; the apple slices on top were carefully prepared. Although it’s just a small bakery, the food is made with great care.
