Macau's Rua do Cunha: A Must-Visit Snack Street

When visiting Macau, you simply can't miss the bustling Rua do Cunha, famous for its variety of delicious local snacks. 😋 Here are some highly recommended local specialties to try during your holiday in Macau: 1. Sei Kee Café ➡️ Sei Kee Café offers both takeaway and dine-in options. Their signature pork chop bun is only available at the takeaway shop (we also tried the beef chop bun and chicken chop bun, but the pork chop bun was the clear winner—truly delicious❗). Their silky milk tea is also a must-try, with a rich tea flavor and a deep orange hue 🥛. While the dine-in shop allows you to enjoy the view of Rua do Cunha from the second floor, for an authentic pork chop bun experience, we recommend the takeaway shop. 2. Old Day Beef Offal ➡️ Established in 2017, this shop was listed on the 2022 Dianping "Must-Eat List," making it Macau's first beef offal shop to gain such recognition. It's now a renowned spot with long queues and bustling crowds. They offer three sizes: large (108 MOP), medium (68 MOP), and small (58 MOP). You can also request extra portions of your favorite parts❗ 3. Yee Shun Milk Company ➡️ We tried their signature chilled double-skin milk pudding (34 MOP). The texture is similar to panna cotta—rich, fragrant, and delicious. The thin layer of skin on top is the highlight. 👍 4. Seng Cheong Restaurant ➡️ Famous for their crab porridge, priced at 270 MOP for a large bowl (220 MOP for a small bowl). This is a must-try "old brand" dish in Macau. 🎉 5. Lord Stow's Bakery ➡️ Established in 1989 in Macau, this internationally renowned bakery offers egg tarts at 11 MOP each or 65 MOP for a box of six. Personally, I find them incredibly delicious and my favorite egg tarts. 🥧 6. Explosive Lemon Tea ➡️ Their signature drink (and house specialty) is the Dried Tangerine Peel Duck Tea (36 MOP), made with dried tangerine peel, duck shit aroma tea leaves, and lemon. The names of their drinks are not only unique but also quite amusing. 🤣🤣❗
