A tour of Coloane: a corner of Macau frozen in time

In Coloane, Macau, the days always seem to flow gently. Walking slowly along the October Fifth Road, the red brick roofs, mottled walls and faint Portuguese window grilles of the old street tell the gentle traces of time. The sweet aroma of freshly baked Portuguese tarts wafts from the alleys, making people stop and savor the happiness that melts in their mouths. Turning to the seaside, the blue sea surface shimmers with the wind, and the fishing boats sway with the waves, like the rhythm of slow breathing. The St. Francis Church of Coloane in the distance stands quietly, contrasting with the green hills. Sit down in a small cafe and watch the pedestrians come and go leisurely. Occasionally, a few seagulls cry, as if adding a few vivid touches to this tranquility. Coloane is like a slow-living time hidden in a corner of the city, making people fall in love with this leisurely and comfortable life unconsciously. #5月好去处2025

Rua Cinco de Outubro

Macau's Place des Macapagal, on Avenida 5 de Octobre, has an old Portuguese church, a library, and characteristic alleys. The seaside environment is beautiful and it feels very comfortable and relaxing. You can also taste delicious food. There is a very famous Portuguese egg tart shop. It is very beautiful to take photos and check in here. There happened to be some coffee-themed activities when I came here, so eating, drinking and having fun are highly recommended!
