Hac Sa Beach in Macau

🌿 Macau consists of the Macau Peninsula and the islands of Taipa and Coloane. Macau is also a leader in land reclamation, with a large reclaimed area between Taipa and Coloane. ✅ Macau has many well-known attractions that are popular with tourists. However, Hac Sa Beach is a relatively less visited spot, located on Coloane Island. 🌌 The beach is named Hac Sa (Black Sand) Beach because of the dark color of its sand. ✅ Hac Sa Beach is a free natural bathing beach. The bay is semi-circular and relatively gentle, with a broad beach about 1 kilometer wide. The water is clear, and the black sand is fine and smooth, making it one of the 'Eight Scenic Spots of Macau.' The black fine sand is due to the presence of a secondary mineral called ilmenite, which is formed under specific marine conditions. 🌿 There is a BUS station near Hac Sa Beach, several good restaurants on one side, and a Hac Sa Park. In my opinion, it's a great place for a city walk. 👍 Most recommended: On a clear day, it's nice to go from here to the Long Chao Kok Coastal Trail or walk to St. Francis Church and Coloane Pier, with beautiful scenery.
