Cairo is the first stop in Egypt and a city you must pass through. It is recommended to spend 3 days. Day 1: Morning: Arrive in Cairo, rest at the hotel, Egyptian Museum Afternoon: Khan El-Khalili market and surroundings (Al-Hussein Mosque, Al-Azhar Mosque) Evening: Gouri Palace performance, every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday, starting at 7 pm Ease the fatigue, adjust to the time difference, without too much rushing. Have lunch at the hotel, then head out to the museum. It won't be hot indoors. In the evening, go to Khan El-Khalili market. Day 2: Morning: Pyramids Afternoon: Hanging Church, Coptic Museum Suggested route for the pyramids: North Gate - Pyramid of Khufu - Pyramid of Khafre - Menkaure - Panoramic viewpoint - Sphinx - Exit through the East Gate The pyramids, being entirely in the desert, require attention to sun protection. Head out early. There are KFC and Pizza Hut near the East Gate for lunch and rest. The Coptic Museum is right next to the Hanging Church, not crowded, but well worth a visit! Day 3: Morning: Garbage City, Cave Church Afternoon: City of the Dead, Saladin Citadel, Bab Zuweila for sunset Evening: Citystars Mall Garbage City is on the way to the Cave Church, with a rather strong smell, so wear a mask. If you like to take cultural photos, you can get off and walk about 1.5 kilometers to the Cave Church. In the evening, visit Cairo's largest shopping mall for dinner and to pick up some daily necessities for the trip. Transportation: Take a taxi, recommended apps: International version of DiDi, Uber Uber cars are slightly more upscale, and cars in Egypt often have a strong gasoline smell, which can cause motion sickness.
