Encountered a beautiful hot spring waterfall while hiking in the secret realm of Gaoligong Mountain in Tengchong, Yunnan

⛰️Gaoligong Mountain is located in the Nujiang Grand Canyon, situated on the west bank of the Nujiang River, and is a national nature reserve. The reserve is 9 kilometers wide from east to west, 135 kilometers long from south to north, with a total area of 120,000 hectares. The mountain is steep, with peaks and valleys arranged alternately from south to north, featuring a very typical vertical landscape of high mountain canyons and a rich variety of animal and plant resources. This is a gem in the Hengduan Mountains, with a forest coverage rate of 85%. The complex terrain and diverse ecological environment of the high mountain canyons provide favorable conditions for various animals and plants from bottom to top. 💃Hiking: Enter from Baihualing Village, which is also one of the few hiking routes currently preserved in Gaoligong. The whole journey takes about 2h to complete, which is very friendly in terms of distance and intensity for urban people. However, the terrain is not the regular 'uphill on the way there, downhill on the way back', but rather undulating all the way, so sweating is also intermittent. Baihualing also has several dedicated bird watching spots; 💦💦Hot springs: Yin and Yang Valley Hot Springs, located in the core scenic area of the eastern slope of Gaoligong Mountain. Due to the lower terrain of Yin and Yang Valley and the shelter of high mountain vegetation, the sun can only shine on half of the area all day. The mountains and valleys are cut by the sunlight into a wonderful chiaroscuro sketch. The illuminated part is green and bright, and the backlit part is deep and dark, forming a spectacle of yin and yang opposition. It is about 5 kilometers walk from Yutang Village to the hot spring; 💰Charges: 15 yuan for outsiders, 5 yuan for people from Mangkuan Township, and no charge for villagers.
