We stayed in Xueshan Township on the first day and climbed slowly on the second day. The gravel road was not easy to walk on, but we had fun while walking. It took about 1-2 hours to climb from Shugucaozi Village. We parked the car at around 9:40 in the morning and got on the car at around 2:40 in the afternoon. The whole journey took 5 hours, including going up the mountain, going down the mountain, and taking various flower viewing and photo taking sessions. Note: The mountain road is narrow and winding, and there is a high risk of debris falling, so drive carefully. I almost smoked the horn haha. There are not many places to eat in Xueshan Township, but the Black Goat Soup Pot is pretty good, and the owner and his family are also very nice. For breakfast, I recommend the Sichuan Girl Snack Shop, which is next to the post office. The sign is not very clear, but the taste is okay. It is said that some tourists who go hiking early in the morning can make reservations with them in advance. The owner is also very enthusiastic. There are several hotels for accommodation, but the conditions in the village are limited, so the Hongdu Hotel we stayed in was okay. The weather in the mountains is prone to change, so pay attention to the weather forecast. When we went there, it was windy and there were a few drops of rain. It was a bit cold, so you should bring something warm to wear after you get up the mountain. Bring some dry food so you can replenish your energy on the mountain. Starting point of the climb: Navigate to Shugucaozi Village, drive to the end of the road, and climb up along the road beside the river. The road starts on the left, and then turns to the right for an easier climb. Just follow the horses carrying luggage.
