Sheraton Gateway Los Angeles Hotel.

Stopped in LA to visit family on our way home from Alaska. Got a night flight so we decided to stay near the airport overnight. There is a shuttle from the airport to the hotel which is not too long to arrive. Check-in was a bit sluggish - there was a preferred Sheraton on line I didn't realize I was a member so it could have been quicker. Anyway, my wife and I were very happy to have the restaurant bar open late as we didn't eat dinner. Good drinks. My wife's were good but my chicken salad and cheese sandwich were so-so. The room was nice and spacious - the bed and pillows were very comfortable and the bathroom was great. We had some bags and the Bellman arrived very long after we called when we checked out. Breakfast in the hotel restaurant was reasonably priced - something like $9 for a bagel and cream cheese, so we walked past that. However, there was a starbucks in the hotel lobby which I needed (even though it wasn't dark and I said a 'young girl associate' roast coffee to take the order and one of the Baristas' heard me make a comment and brewed some).
