Charming Streets of Lisbon

I visited Lisbon, the capital of Portugal!! Lisbon is built on seven hills, so there are many slopes and stairs. There are also numerous viewpoints, offering stunning views of the city. The colorful buildings and tiles make the streets incredibly charming☺️☺️ And of course, the iconic yellow trams🚋💛 The famous Tram 28 runs through the city, and I encountered it several times (photo 4). Additionally, there are three cable cars that navigate steep slopes: ① Glória Line (Elevador da Glória) ② Lavra Line (Ascensor da Lavra) ③ Bica Line (Ascensor da Bica) Photos 1–3 show the Lavra Line. Photo 4 features the Bica Line → I waited for about 20 minutes, but it seemed the tram wasn’t running that day (a passerby informed me). Seeing the yellow trams climbing narrow slopes and passing each other was exactly the scene I had hoped to witness. It made me so happy☺️☺️ To ride the trams, you can use contactless payment with a credit card, but a 24-hour transportation pass, which works for other public transport as well, is more cost-effective! Lastly, my favorite gelato shop, 'Santini.' During my three-day stay in Lisbon, I visited it twice🍨 Their fruit flavors are incredibly juicy and delicious😋🍓🍋. It’s located near Rossio Square, and I highly recommend it!!

Praca do Comercio (Terreiro do Paco)

Dreaming of a sunny city break packed with grand architecture and outdoor vibes? Lisbon has it all 🌞✨. At the heart of it sits Praca do Comercio (Terreiro do Paco) — the city’s central plaza that’s basically a living postcard for Western-style elegance! Must-See Spot: Praca do Comercio (Terreiro do Paco) Address: 1100-148 Lisbon, Portugal Open: All day, every day (no ticket, no rush — just show up!) What makes Praca do Comercio so awesome? Picture wide open squares perfect for people-watching, impressive yellow facades, and a killer view of the river. Pro tip: go on a sunny afternoon for the best vibes — the light here is photo gold 🟡📸. Wander under the arcades for shade or strike a pose by the triumphal arch. It’s mega-walkable, so comfy sneakers are a win! Insider tip: Want culture and chill? Grab a pastel de nata from one of the cafés lining the square and enjoy the scene. Morning visits are quieter, but the golden hour is pure magic for photos. Getting Around: Lisbon’s metro and trams are a safe bet! Praca do Comercio is minutes from Baixa-Chiado Metro (blue/green line). Or hop on the iconic tram 28 for a true local experience. Food Pick: Try “Café Martinho da Arcada” — a legendary spot on the plaza for strong Portuguese coffee and pastries. Extra Lisbon Tips: No visa needed for most travellers under Schengen. Cashless payments widely accepted. Sunscreen is a must — those rays bounce off the stone! #LisbonDays #SunnyLisbon #PortugalSquares #TravelTips #CultureVibes
