Perfectly Positioned Gem in Alfama

I stayed here for five nights in September. The location is excellent in Alfama; it's within walking distance of many attractions and eateries, and it's about a six-minute stroll from Rosso Metro. Finding the hotel can be a bit puzzling and challenging as the streets are similar in appearance, and street signs aren't always visible. The room was clean and spacious, with a window that also opened as a door to stand on a Juliet balcony. It included a TV, fridge, safe, and hairdryer, but lacked a tea/coffee maker. There was limited space to store luggage, mainly on top of the console housing the fridge and a couple of drawers for clothing. Reception staff was very friendly and helpful, going out of their way to assist with directions. Special mention to Sophia, who helped me multiple times with trip planning and train schedules. I received port and two Pastéis de Nata with a welcome note. Copenhagen Coffee Lab is part of the hotel and serves breakfast. The breakfast was good. Before booking, I'd read others' concerns about noise, but my third-floor room wasn't very noisy. It's important to remember that staying in the city center means there will be some noise. I would recommend it and happily stay here again.
