Zhaoxing Dong Village, Liping, Guizhou

On the way back to Beijing from Hainan, I passed through Liping, Guizhou, and had to visit Zhaoxing Dong Village. Zhaoxing Dong Village is a Dong village, known as the "No. 1 Dong Village" and one of the largest Dong villages in China. The village is located in a mountain basin surrounded by mountains, with a small river running through the village, forming a unique natural landscape. Cars cannot enter the scenic area, so they are parked at the gate, and there is a shuttle bus to the village after buying tickets. The homestay I chose this time (Qixi Inn) was particularly good, with good value for money, and I highly recommend it. The location is just at the entrance of the village, it is very quiet at night and the scenery is also good. You can see the farm waterwheel and rice outside the window of the homestay, which is very beautiful. The room is also clean and tidy, and it is a pet-friendly homestay. I brought a cat who likes to fight, so the owner of the homestay specially took care of his own cat to avoid conflicts between the two sides, hahaha, very considerate. If you live in the village, I think it will be very noisy, and you have to drag your luggage a long way. The scenery in the village is different during the day and night, full of ethnic characteristics, and the roadside snacks are all good. I chose a Dong Family Restaurant with good reviews in the village, and you must try their wild mushroom and chicken pot, which will definitely make you remember this place. The delicious wild mushrooms and rich chicken are combined, it is so delicious, if I go again, I will definitely go to their restaurant to eat. Sometimes you remember a place because of the scenery, because of the food, or because of the comfortable accommodation, but here all three are satisfied.
