The first village of the Dong people.

Zhaoxing Dong Village is located in the southeast of Liping County, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province. It is one of the largest Dong villages in China and is known as the "first village of the Dong people". - Arrival at the Dong Village: - Arrived at Congjiang Station at noon, then took a minibus to Zhaoxing Dong Village. Upon entering the village, I was immediately attracted by the ancient wooden buildings and unique ethnic customs. - After checking in at the homestay and taking a short break, I started strolling around the village. Walking along the stone road, I saw that all the houses in the village were stilted buildings built along the river, which were arranged in a patchwork pattern. - I visited five drum towers with different styles. These drum towers are the symbols of the Dong Village. People gather, socialize, and relax here, carrying the history and culture of the Dong people. - Food experience: - In the evening, I went to a local restaurant and tasted sour soup fish. The fish was tender and the sour soup was rich in flavor, which was very appetizing. Paired with the local special rice, it was memorable. - After dinner, I also tried Yang Meimei Barbecue. The barbecue from their restaurant was fragrant and was a real local flavor. - Night view: - The night view of Zhaoxing Dong Village is unique. The lights on the drum tower and the wind and rain bridge are reflected in the river, sparkling like a poem or a painting. - Walking along the river, I felt the tranquility and beauty of the night. I also saw some local residents chatting and singing by the river, full of life.
