Drum Towers The five drum towers of Zhaoxing Dong Village are the most concentrated, known as the 'Dong Village Drum Tower Cluster.' The drum tower is the symbol of the Dong village, called 'Tangka' or 'Tangwa' in the Dong language. There are two types of drum towers: multi-columned with four main columns and twelve supporting columns, and single-columned supported by one central column, standing straight in the center of the drum tower, stretching to the top, with four supporting columns at the base. Regardless of the architectural form, a concentric drum is placed at the top level, hence the name drum tower. 2. Terraced Fields Poetry hides in the clouds, and life is written in the wilderness.
