Linqing North Mosque (Hongjia Temple): First built during the Hongzhi period of the Ming Dynasty (1488-1505), and rebuilt in the 43rd year of Jiajing in the Ming Dynasty (1564), the existing buildings are in the Ming and Qing styles. A unique cultural relic of Linqing North Mosque: a plaque inscribed by Mao Zedong for the mosque in 1940 upon request. The North Mosque covers an area of ​​about 20,000 square meters. The main buildings are arranged along the east-west axis, including the corridor, archway gate, Moon-Watching Tower, bathing room, south and north lecture halls, south and north corner towers, main hall, back hall, screen wall, back door and other 86 halls, towers and pavilions. The buildings are arranged symmetrically and harmoniously. Main hall: It is composed of the front hall, rear hall, and porch, forming a connected structure. The front part is a four-hipped roof with ridgeposts at both ends of the main ridge. The back part is a double-eaved roof in the shape of a mountain, with an octagonal spire in the middle, and a porch at the back. There is a four-corner spire on each side with a steep slope. The roof of the hall is covered with yellow and green glazed tiles, with flying eaves on all sides, like an eagle flapping its wings, majestic and spectacular. The palace door has floor-to-ceiling lattice fans, and the brackets, openwork hangings and corbels still retain the architectural style of the Ming Dynasty. Linqing Mosque is a large-scale building with an architectural style that has both the characteristics of Islamic religious architecture and more of my country's traditional wooden structure architecture. It is the crowning temple in the northwest of Shandong Province. It fully demonstrates the wisdom and talent of the ancient working people, and embodies the fine tradition of great integration and unity of all Chinese ethnic groups.
