Come to Linhai, Sleep in the Scenery

Linhai, a city that integrates thousand-year-old charm, beautiful mountains and waters, and modern atmosphere, is an important hub on the Tang Dynasty Poetry Route in eastern Zhejiang and a treasure trove of Song Dynasty culture. This time, I came here with friends during the May Day holiday. While exploring, I discovered a hidden gem of a guesthouse nestled in the scenery—Linhai Chengjian No.1! The guesthouse is adjacent to Ziyang Street, with renovated old buildings 🏘️ that face the Jiangnan Great Wall. The entire property includes a 1,000-square-meter outdoor public area, which has 🈶 a restaurant, lobby book bar, café, sake bar, tea room, and more. They also offer dining, afternoon tea, bar service, various team-building activities, meeting salons, small gatherings, themed parties, outdoor lawn weddings, birthday parties, and other customized services. For guest rooms, Chengjian No.1 spans 2,000 square meters but features only about 10 rooms, designed to not disappoint any guest with its sweet and tender approach to life. Even the most basic first-floor room types come with full-floor heating, King Koil mattresses, and the same linens used in five-star hotels! We stayed in the "City Tower" room type. Opening any window 🪟 instantly creates a feeling of happiness that makes life worthwhile. Throwing yourself onto the soft bed or stepping into the oversized white porcelain bathtub makes you feel like the main character in your own life—as comfortable as you want to be. For dining, breakfast can be enjoyed either outdoors or indoors. In the evening, I highly recommend their private customized set menu, with terrace dining 🍽️ that instantly maximizes the sense of ceremony. Afternoon tea can be enjoyed under the outdoor canopy, which is quite nice 👍 Overall 👇👇 ✅ The guesthouse is located at 41 Sanfu Ji Road, about a 5-minute walk from Ziyang Ancient Street and the city wall. ✅ The activity area is large, with a wall of books indoors, a coffee bar, and a restaurant. You can enjoy afternoon tea on the large outdoor lawn. ✅ The rooms feature a minimalist style, giving a refreshing visual effect, with a thoughtful separation of wet and dry areas. ✅ The staff are very enthusiastic, making you feel at home. ✅ They've hosted guests from the show "Youth Travel Notes," so you can instantly experience the same setting as celebrities. ✅ The nine-grid breakfast focuses on nutritional balance, looking appealing and tasting delicious.
