Solo Travel in Northern Italy | The Romantic Lemon Town by the Lake

Limone, the Lemon Town, is located on the shores of Lake Garda. The entire town is famous for its lemons. Although I visited in July, which is not the lemon harvest season, you can still see the town filled with lemon-related products, including skincare items, food, seasonings, and even furniture. Compared to Lake Como, Limone has fewer tourists due to its less convenient transportation and the scattered attractions around Lake Garda. Driving is more convenient here, and it’s also a spot you might pass through on your way to the Dolomites. Limone is not a large town, but its most picturesque area is the castle by the seaside and the central restaurants where many people come to take photos. The colorful houses by the sea resemble those in the South of France. It’s a cozy little town with hardly any Chinese tourists.
