Shuhe Ancient Town (束河古镇) in Yunnan, China, was quieter and held an even deeper charm compared to Lijiang Old Town. 🏮 Narrow alleys lined with stone walls and wooden roofs stretched on, while clear water flowed through canals flanked by cozy tea houses and shops. At night, soft lights illuminated the town, and traditional music gently resonated. In that serene atmosphere, where the sound of water was closer than human voices, time seemed to flow more slowly. 🌙 August 3, 2023—The air and light of that day remain vivid in my memory. It’s a place I hope remains unchanged if I ever return. 🌿
