Dongba Cultural Heritage Tower in Lijiang

The Dongba Cultural Heritage Tower in Lijiang is a golden Tibetan-style Buddhist stupa visible from afar, opposite the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in Lijiang Old Town. If you're staying in Lijiang for a while, it's worth visiting at least once. Located south of the mountain, this stupa is the only golden Tibetan-style tower in the area, following traditional Tibetan stupa architecture. It is quite large, standing nearly 50 meters tall. It is said to have used a total of 209 kilograms of gold in its construction. Although the tower is not well-maintained, the lack of tourists makes it a peaceful place to explore. Additionally, the nearby local village, centered around clans, offers a unique cultural experience worth exploring together.
