Tibet never promises answers, only provides remedies.

How can you not visit the place closest to the sky? Potala Palace: A giant standing against time. Besides visiting and touring, how can you miss the chance to dress up as a Tibetan girl and take a photo with the beautiful Potala Palace? 📝Tips: There are many shops on Barkhor Street that rent clothes for photos, with varying prices. Taking photos at two scenic spots will cost extra. I personally rented clothes + had my makeup and hair done on-site, then took a taxi to different locations to take photos myself, with no time or location restrictions. I could take photos however I wanted. I didn't have to worry about negatives or retouching, I did all the post-production myself, and they all turned out great. Namtso National Park: A lake that swaps identities with the sky. After a five-hour bumpy ride in an SUV through the folds of the Nyainqentanglha Mountains, Namtso appeared like a suddenly opened sapphire box. The lake, at an altitude of 4,718 meters, swallowed all the clouds, and yaks grazed their reflections on the shore. It was truly a sky mirror. The moment the wind rolled up the prayer flags, I heard the lake chanting deep in my eardrums. It was truly beautiful. 🌟Highlights: There are many herders by the lake leading yaks for tourists to take photos with, but only a few yaks can be photographed in the water. Choose carefully for better photos. However, this might not be good for the environment. Yamdrok Lake: Coral in the sky. Leaping up on the plateau at an altitude of 4,998 meters, I felt like the world was at my feet. Watching Yamdrok Lake gradually change into different shades of blue, presenting a unique purity and nobility, it seemed close at hand yet unreachable. 📝Tips: There will be many people taking photos at the viewing platform, and there are railings, which don't make for great photos. Remember to walk a bit further for photos. The last two photos were taken a little further to the side, where there were no people, and I could get closer to the lake. 👎Not recommended: I took a hot air balloon ride, which I don't really recommend. It doesn't fly very high, and you can't see much scenery. So, consider this a warning. ❤Recommendation: Leaving Tibet, I left half of my heart on the plateau, along with a condition called "vastness" that needs a lifetime to digest. The place closest to heaven, reached first on earth.
