Giant Buddha experience

Taking the train from Chengdu to Le’Shan was incredibly easy and quick. The trains run quite regularly as well so it’s super easy to quickly reach the area. From Le’Shan station to the Giant Buddha area, I took a taxi directly from outside the station. It took around 20 minutes to drive there and cost about 30RMB. The entrance to the Giant Buddha is easy to find and you can walk along an old style road and you can reach the boat area. For me, I chose to take the boat around the Buddha instead, this cost 120RMB and the trip as a whole on the boat lasted around 40 minutes. The boat rides past the Buddha before turning to take a return trip, it then sits for 15 minutes or so for photos and to study the statue. #urbanexplorer #awesomepic #nationalpark #naturalwonders
