Giant Buddha in Leshan

Many people travel to the Big Buddha from Chengdu, but we had some extra time, that's why we stayed for 2 night near Emeishan and traveled to Leshan from there. It's very close and convenient to get to the Buddha by train or taxi. The cruise costs 120-150rmb per person (30min). We stopped for about 10min right opposite to the Buddha so everyone had a chance to take pictures. After the cruise we walked 500m further and entered the Giant Buddha Scenic area. It costs 80yuan, there you can see Buddha really close and take some nice pictures. This place is definitely worth visiting and it isn't crowded at all if you arrive early enough.
