Langkawi Beach Holiday Experience

Recently stayed in Langkawi for a few days and chose Tanjung Rhu Resort, located in Mukim Ayer Hangat. The hotel has an excellent location, right on the beach, with breathtaking views outside the window! Although the location is a bit remote, it adds a sense of tranquility to the resort. It takes some time to get to the city center and popular attractions, but the hotel offers airport transfer service, which solves many transportation troubles. 🚗 The resort’s decor has a historical feel and is a bit old, but it is currently under renovation. The front desk staff were very warm during check-in, and the staff tried their best to help. The room layout is spacious and comfortable, clean and tidy, with a quiet private beach and clear water. I really liked the multiple pools here, where I could leisurely soak every day while watching the sunset. The hotel service is relatively attentive, though there seems to be room for improvement in the restaurant service. Worth mentioning is the friendly atmosphere of the hotel, making guests feel at home. 🌅🏊 Regarding the room experience, the space is really large, and the bed is so comfortable you fall asleep instantly! Although some facilities are a bit old, it does not affect the overall comfort. A unique point is that the internet in the room needs frequent reconnection, but overall the online experience is pretty good. 🏠🔌 There are quite a few nearby places worth trying, such as Langkawi Cooking School and several restaurants. Especially Scarborough Fish & Chips Tanjung Rhu, the fish and chips are excellent! There are also some local flavor restaurants worth trying, like Din Cafe and Cafe Laksa Rindu. After eating, you can take a walk on the beach to digest and watch the stars—a perfect holiday experience. 🍽️⛱️ Of course, the hotel has some minor drawbacks, such as the need to renovate room facilities, limited restaurant options, and occasional water outages at certain times. Also, there is no elevator, so guests need to be mindful of going up and down stairs. However, these do not affect the overall fondness for the experience, and I still think this is a place worth visiting. 💡 Overall, Tanjung Rhu Resort is a place that perfectly combines the beach, pools, and beautiful scenery, suitable for both family trips and solo vacations. Hopefully, next time I can see the improved look after renovations! 🌈✨
