Ratchada Bridge

Ratsadaphisek Bridge or White Bridge is located on Ratsada Road. It is a bridge across the Wang River. It is located in Hua Wiang Subdistrict, Mueang Lampang District, Lampang Province. It was originally a wooden bridge that Chao Noranan Chai Chavalit, the ruler of Lampang, and the people of Lampang Province built to celebrate the 25th anniversary of His Majesty King Chulalongkorn (Rama V)'s accession to the throne in 1894. During World War I and II, the bridge was painted in camouflage and, claiming that it had no strategic value, survived the bombing. After that, it was rebuilt in March 1917 as a reinforced concrete bridge. The bridge has a white chicken symbol and a royal Garuda at the bridgehead. #Ratsada Bridge
