Lagos, Nigeria, the largest city in West Africa, enjoys a tropical climate with clear rainy and dry seasons. After arriving at the airport and navigating the busy peak-time traffic, I visited the affluent Victoria Island the following day for business and to take in the sights. Here, you'll find modern high-end hotels, cafes, bars, office buildings, and financial institutions. The port and beach area boasts a strip of fine white sand, offering a stark contrast to the old city's chaotic and dilapidated state. This stark difference underscores the significant wealth gap present in Africa. There is a notable presence of Chinese individuals in Nigeria, and making money has become a primary focus for them!
