Relaxing weekend in Labuan

Peaceful emptiness—just the sound of waves crashing gently and the calls of distant seabirds. There wasn’t another soul in sight, giving us the feeling that the entire shoreline was ours to explore. We spent the day enjoying simple, meaningful activities together. The kid was thrilled to catch small crabs among the rocks and tidal pools, carefully scooping them up and releasing them back into the water. Much of our time was spent just soaking in the natural beauty—the vast open sea, the soft sand under our feet, and the golden sun slowly moving across the sky. With no distractions, it felt like time slowed down. We walked along the shore, collecting seashells, watching the waves, and simply enjoying being together. It was a peaceful escape, full of connection, nature, and calm—one of those rare days that stays with you long after it ends. #labuan #picnic
