Day 1: History & Culture 🛕 Labuan War Cemetery – A peaceful and well-maintained site, honoring fallen soldiers from World War II. A must-visit for history buffs. 🏛 Labuan Museum – A small yet insightful museum showcasing Labuan’s rich heritage and culture. 🚢 The Chimney Museum – A mysterious red-brick tower with no clear purpose, but an interesting stop for history lovers. 🌅 Labuan Square & Sunset View – Enjoy a relaxing walk and snap some photos at Labuan’s city center before catching the sunset at Layang-Layangan Beach. Day 2: Nature & Shopping 🏝 Rusukan Besar Island – Took a short boat ride for some snorkeling and beach relaxation. The water is crystal clear! 🛍 Duty-Free Shopping – Labuan is famous for its duty-free chocolates, perfumes, and alcohol. Best place to shop: Financial Park Complex. 🍽 Seafood Feast at Anjung Ketam – Ended the trip with fresh, affordable seafood while enjoying a sea view. Highly recommend the butter prawns! Travel Tips: ✅ Rent a car – Public transport is limited, and renting a car makes it easier to explore. ✅ Bring cash – Some small eateries and island tour operators prefer cash over cards. ✅ Try local delicacies – Don’t leave without tasting Labuan’s ambuyat and seafood specialties!
