Vegan & Gluten free Options

All dishes were fresh and flavourful. Choice also makes their own fermented cheeses and sell them by wheels. This is the one and only 100% vegan & gluten-free cafe in kyoto, so celiac diners and people with severe gluten sensitivity like me can enjoy worry-free. This is hard to come by, although Kyoto I would say is a pretty gluten-free friendly city. Many restaurants can and are willing to prepare meals with dietary requests as long as notices are given ahead of time. Also, this vegan restaurant is one of the few to open up “early” and offer breakfast items. Their breakfast menu is short, but it will do the job.
