Magical Night of Autumn Leaves in Kyoto's Gion.

I had the fortune to experience an unforgettable night of autumn leaves in Kyoto's Gion. The night here is starkly different from the day; as the sun sets, the streets of Gion are illuminated by soft lights, and the ancient wooden houses and stone-paved roads are bathed in a warm glow of light and shadow. Walking through this historic district, I felt as if I had traveled back to Japan centuries ago. The night maple of Gion is a highlight of the autumn season here. As night falls, the maple leaves become exceptionally enchanting under the light. The red leaves reflect the lights, creating a dazzling tapestry. Walking on the path of night maple, with the gentle breeze and the rustling of dry leaves, it's as if they are telling the story of Gion. This unique atmosphere is calming and makes one forget the hustle and bustle of the city. I especially recommend the maple viewing spot of Kodaiji Temple in Gion. The garden design here is exquisite, and the lights at night reflect the maple leaves on the water surface, creating a dreamlike scene. There's also the Minami-dori along Shirakawa, where you can walk along the river, with maple trees on both sides and ancient teahouses reflecting each other, making it a place where one lingers and forgets to return.
