The cherry blossom season in Kyoto is approaching, and this hotel is worth recommending

The second OMO hotel in Kyoto, 'OMO5 Kyoto Sanjo', is located by the Kamo River at Sanjo, surrounded by a plethora of delicious eateries, making it the tastiest area in Kyoto. Right next to it is the Sanjo Shopping Street, with many specialty stores known only to locals. This OMO, similar in style to the one I stayed at in Tokyo Otsuka, features a decor dominated by natural wood colors, simple and exquisite. The lobby displays some local Japanese scenery and tells the historical and cultural stories of the surrounding area along the Takase River. 🗺️ The lobby map also marks nearby distinctive restaurants, shops, and attractions, making it easy for guests to see at a glance. ☕️ The lobby also serves as the hotel's social area, with coffee and candy available for free, making it a nice place to chat with friends. 🥣 The hotel's breakfast is semi-buffet style, with six main dishes to choose from. I especially like the local specialty breakfast that resembles porridge, light and tasty. 🛏️ The rooms are close to Japanese tatami style, very clean and tidy, with a separate wet and dry bathroom space, and an independent sofa and coffee table, which are convenient for temporary computer work. OMO, as an urban sightseeing hotel, is convenient and comfortable, blending tradition with modernity, and offers great value for money. A few early cherry trees by the Kamo River have already bloomed, and in another week, the splendid cherry blossom season will arrive.
