Sanjo Hotel: Good to Live and Good to Buy｜Kyoto Slow Travel 9

The third stop in Kyoto was staying at OMO5 Sanjo Hotel. During this slow-paced trip to Kyoto, we stayed at three Kyoto OMO hotels in different areas of the Hoshinoya Group. In addition to enjoying the accommodation in different hotels, we also wanted to experience OMO's unique "local exploration journey" that is exclusive to different hotels, so as to better feel the charm of Kyoto's scenery and culture from different perspectives. There is a luggage check-in service between OMO hotel systems. When checking out, you can hand your luggage to the front desk and travel around freely. When you transfer to the next hotel, your luggage can be delivered directly to your room. This service makes switching between hotels easier and smoother. (1100 yen per piece of luggage, about 55 RMB) Kyoto Sanjo Hotel is a hotel where you can enjoy living, entertainment and shopping. The free guided local exploration tour is divided into three routes: a stroll along the Takasegawa River, a tour of old shops, and a tour of cafes. This time I experienced the old store tour (see the previous post), and I will try other experiences when I have the chance in the future. The hotel is conveniently located next to the famous brand street, old shop street, high-end department stores, and there are many restaurants around. It is very close to the city bus and intercity trains such as Keihan and Kintetsu. In addition to going out shopping and enjoying the scenery, when staying in this hotel, don't miss the early morning breakfast and the hot spring bath in the room. 🥄The semi-buffet breakfast is simple, comfortable and healthy, including a choice of six cooked-to-order risottos, salads, juices and cheeses. I really like to cut different kinds of radishes into thin slices and arrange them into flower-like vegetable salads. It makes people feel that simple and plain ingredients can still create wonderful and high-quality food, and a good day in life should also unfold in this way. 🚿The black and white mosaic bathing pool in the room is very retro. Putting in a grapefruit bubble bath bag and using it seems to drive away all the fatigue from a day's travel.
