If I have time on weekends, I will go shopping in the shopping malls in Kwun Tong. After a whole day of shopping, I was a little tired and wanted to find a comfortable restaurant to have a meal. I saw this restaurant on the 3rd floor of Yumin Square which had just opened a few months ago. It had a big bar and several high tables outside the door. It looked so chill, so I gave it a try. Ordered a super meal for two. The set meal for two includes a bowl of soup per person, 2 snacks, 2 main dishes, and 2 drinks. The meal comes with a piece of crispy toast per person, which can be eaten with balsamic vinegar and olive oil. The chef's selected soup is my favorite corn 🌽 cream soup, which tastes sweet. The white anchovy and eggplant puree on toast is added with a little spicy powder, which is quite tasty and is a great appetizer. The Italian air-dried ham platter has 3 types of ham, including 24-month parma ham, salami, and coppa ham. All three types of ham are not too salty and go well with grapes. The restaurant is having a promotion recently. If you order a meal for two, you can choose one mussel for an additional $88. A serving of mussels is quite large, if you count them, there are about 20 in one plate. I chose fresh mussels with bacon. The mussels were fresh and the bacon was salty and fragrant. The clams in the garlic and white wine clam spaghetti are quite big and washed clean without any sand. Even when handmade pasta is cold, it still has an al dente feel. The slow-cooked beef cheek saffron risotto has super tender and flavorful beef cheeks! The risotto is not too tender, it is creamy enough and has a nice cheese aroma. I paid extra for 2 desserts. The panna cotta with passion fruit jam is fluffy, not too thick, and has a smooth texture. Tiramisu is served in a cup, with a moderate portion, rich coffee flavor and a smooth texture. The restaurant will have a wine tasting event on December 8th, and a sake tasting event afterwards. Alcoholics can go!
