Asai Ichibon Sakura: A Majestic Century-Old Cherry Blossom Tree in Kurume, Fukuoka

Located in Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture, the renowned century-old cherry blossom tree "Asai Ichibon Sakura" stands tall and proud. With an estimated age of 120 years, a height of approximately 18 meters, and a trunk circumference of 4.3 meters, this giant tree is truly awe-inspiring. Situated near Mount Mino, this park features rare Kawazu cherry blossoms, along with Yoshino cherry blossoms, weeping cherry blossoms, camellias, and plum blossoms.
