A spectacular scale! Prayer to the Mother Kannon

#Spring0yenTrip I went to see the Great Kannon Statue of Saviour and Compassion in Kurume! The huge 62m tall Kannon can be seen from afar, and the closer I got the more overwhelmed I was 🙏✨The gentle expression of the Kannon is very calm, and just looking up at it calms the mind. You can also go inside, and one of the attractions is that you can see the Kurume cityscape from the window when you climb the stairs 🌆. There are seasonal flowers and Buddha statues scattered around, so I enjoyed walking around. In the quiet and solemn atmosphere, I naturally wanted to put my hands together.
