Staying in Kunming with elders and kids - Haigeng Hot Spring Garden Hotel

I rarely write hotel reviews on Trip.com community. Today, I specifically recommend Haigeng Hot Spring Garden Hotel in Kunming. If you are coming to Kunming for leisure with elders and kids, this hotel is a great choice. Besides the spacious rooms, cleanliness, rich breakfast, and enthusiastic staff… these basic requirements: [One] The hotel itself is a large garden. When we visited in early January 2020, the cherry blossoms were in full bloom; there is a lake in the courtyard with flocks of seagulls right in front of you. Adults and children had so much fun feeding the seagulls. Elders can enjoy walking and sightseeing without leaving the hotel. [Two] The hotel has a small warm water swimming pool, suitable for elders to soak and kids to play. [Three] The dining environment is excellent, accompanied by beautiful scenery outside the window, which adds to the food experience. [Four] Just across the street from the hotel is Haigeng Park, a must-visit spot for winter visitors to Kunming: watch and feed the seagulls. [Five] We also walked from the hotel to the Dianchi Cable Car lower station and took the cable car to Xishan Forest Park. 🚠 The cable car crosses Dianchi Lake, and the scenery is amazing. [Six] About 3 kilometers from the hotel is Yunnan Nationalities Village, with an entrance fee of 80 yuan, but we didn’t go. In short, I will stay at this hotel again next time I visit Kunming.
