This is my favourite Yunnan restaurant chain, and I’ve been enjoying their food for over ten years. Whenever I visit Kunming, I always make a point of returning, as their dishes are consistently delicious and dependable. Their signature cold eggplant dish is an absolute must-try: flavourful, refreshing, and remarkably affordable, which truly embodies the ethos of their establishment. The Yunnan-style roast duck is another highlight: tender, aromatic, and occasionally available at an excellent promotional price. On our last visit, we were fortunate to enjoy it for just RMB30 half price offer! I’ve dined here on numerous occasions, and whenever I’m unsure of where to eat, this brand is my go-to choice. The food is tasty, satisfying, and easy on the wallet. A typical meal for four people comes in at under RMB200, making it ideal for both locals and travellers. What’s even more impressive is how much they’ve grown over the years. Since my first visit all those years ago, they have expanded with many branches across the city, making it even easier to enjoy their wonderful Yunnan flavours wherever you are. You might just find them if random shopping malls in Kunming, or maybe across Yunnan.
