We took the metro from Kunming Station to Western Hill Station. Exit the station and walk out the front. Buy tickets at the entrance. We took a bus to the starting point, then took a battery-powered car up to the top. From there, we climbed the stairs to the Dragon Gate. The highlight of Xishan Mountain is the Dragon Gate, a popular tourist destination for making offerings. To reach the top, climb over 300 steps. Along the way, you'll pass sacred shrines like the God of Fortune, the Tiger God, the Gratitude Cow Well, the Goddess of Mercy, and finally, the Dragon Gate. Before crossing the gate, make a wish and rub a crystal ball. They're built so high, we stood on tiptoe, tensing up every part of our body. Finally, we made it! Haha.
