I also had the pleasure of trying the famous kek lapis, a traditional layered cake that is a true work of art. The local soft ice cream was the cherry on top, it was creamy and refreshing, perfect to beat the heat. But the culinary delights were just the beginning of my adventure in Kuching. Everywhere I looked, I was struck by the city's rich history and stunning natural beauty. From the charming colonial architecture to the lush green jungle, there was so much to see and explore.
