The museum collects and displays currencies issued in Malaysia at various times, including banknotes, coins, commemorative coins, and even substitute currencies. For me, who loves collecting currencies from all over the world, this place is simply a paradise and it makes my eyes light up! As you enter the museum, you will see a tunnel decorated with coins. The tour guide humorously called it the "entrance to fortune", which adds fun to the tour. When you enter the exhibition area, the first thing you can see are cute piggy banks of various shapes and interactive games suitable for children. Adults can continue exploring. There is a DIY banknote printing experience area near the exit on the first floor, allowing visitors to understand the small details in the design of the Malaysian ringgit more carefully through hands-on printing. Don’t leave in a hurry after visiting the first floor. There are several exhibition halls on the second floor that provide in-depth introductions to Malaysia’s fiscal policies, important figures, and the relationship between Malaysia and international finance. For local students, this is undoubtedly one of the quickest ways to understand the country's financial operations. At the end of your visit, be sure to take a photo as you descend the stairs, as they are designed to resemble a money symbol and are said to attract wealth.
