I've been interested in this museum for a long time. It was hard to find a date to go because of changes in exhibits and regular holidays, but I finally made it! It was designed by I.M. Pei, who also designed the glass pyramid at the Louvre in Paris. The collection includes a wide variety of Japanese art as well as ancient art from around the world, including Egypt, Western Asia, Greece, Rome, South Asia, and China.
